AntiqRate · Effective 24 October 2026

Photos

Only the photos of the item you scan are processed. The photos, and any details you type to correct a result (title, maker, era, size, condition), are sent to the AntiqRate server (hosted on Cloudflare) and, to identify and value the item, to Anthropic, Google and SerpApi. Your photos are never used to train AI models. Our server does not keep them: temporary copies are deleted within 24 hours. Corrections you type are not stored on our server beyond the request that uses them.

To find similar listings, the item's description (title, maker, era, material and category, never your photos) is sent to Anthropic, which searches public marketplace and auction websites.

Device check

We use Apple App Attest and DeviceCheck to prevent abuse and to limit the free scan to one per device. DeviceCheck stores two bits per device at Apple and holds no personal information.

Subscriptions

RevenueCat processes your subscription status using an anonymous ID. Payments are handled by Apple.

Analytics and crash reports

Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) receives anonymous usage events and crash reports, tied to a random app-instance ID. No photos, item names, values or notes are sent. We do not track you across apps or websites, we do not use an advertising ID, and there are no ads. Firebase derives a general location (country, region, city) from your IP address.

Your inventory

Your inventory stays on your iPhone and in your own iCloud account (a private database). We cannot access it. There are no accounts: deleting the app and its iCloud data deletes your inventory.
